In the face of the aberrant judicial action of the U.S. Supreme Court, which refused to hear the case of the five antiterrorist fighters and heroes of the Republic of Cuba, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine reaffirms its solidarity with those distinguished patriots and the entire Cuban people.
The DFLP reiterates its commitment and duty to continue contributing to the release of René, Ramón, Gerardo, Fernando and Antonio from harsh North American prisons in which the government of the United States maintains them unjustly and inhumanely as inmates, while it offers protection and asylum to well-known terrorists.
With such cruel sanctions, North American imperialism seeks to punish revolutionary and socialist Cuba, lying just 90 miles from its coast and representing a luminous and encouraging example for Latin America and other peoples of the world.
The Democratic Front has made a call to its bases and all militants to double their participation in the international campaign demanding the government of the United States to put an end to such injustice and so that the brave, fighting antiterrorist are freed.
The Democratic Front greatly appreciates the noble solidarity and backing of Cuba for our Palestinian people, who are fighting for their right to self-determination, an independent Palestinian State with Jerusalem as its capital and the return of our refugees to their homes by virtue of resolutions of international law.
