Any PA-Israel peace deal hinges on the release of all Palestinian inmates locked up in the Israeli prisons, said Taysir Khaled, DFLP politburo member.
Speaking to newsmen, Khaled, who is also a PLO executive committee member, highly appraised the Palestinian captives for their courageous steadfastness and resoluteness in face of the Israeli arrogance.
He asserted that all Palestinian inmates are freedom fighters, who should be treated as POWs, and expressed his full rejection of the terms set by the Israeli authorities for freeing those prisoners.
The DFLP official called on the Palestinian factions to spare no effort in putting an end to the administrative detention policy the Israeli authorities were still clamping on the Palestinian helpless captives.
"Israel is the only state in the world still exercising such arbitrary detention that constituted a flagrant violation of the human rights principles," the DFLP official charged.
