In a statement issued on Saturday, Palestinian national factions convened in Ramallah to call on the Arab and Islamic nations to act responsibly in the light of the increasing levels of Israeli repression and atrocities against the Palestinian people.

The factions said that the Israeli Forces are committing war crimes against the Palestinian people and that the State of Israel is a perpetrator of state terror against the Palestinian people. The factions demanded that those involved in these war crimes be brought to justice.

The statement stressed that the Palestinian people insist on exercising their legitimate and internationally guaranteed right to resist the occupation of their land. They pledged to fight for their rights until they attain their freedom, bring about an end to the Israeli Occupation and establish a sovereign independent Palestinian state.
