Israeli strike kills 4 Palestinians in Gaza
May 22, 2006

Palestinian political factions threatened to retaliate harshly for the assassination of Mohammad Dahdouh (28), the leader of Al-Quds Brigades.

A Palestinian mother, Hanan Amin (35), her baby boy Mohannad and the baby’s grandmother were also killed in the Israeli air strike.

In separate statements issued by the political factions, they all confirmed that they will continue their military operations against Israel and vowed to that resistance is their strategic choice to end the occupation.

The factions launched many home-made projectiles at the Israeli towns and cities in the areas near the Gaza Strip, with the Al-Quds Brigades announcing responsibility for the launch of four projectiles at Sderot. The Brigades said that they will continue to launch projectiles at Israeli cities.

The Al-Aqsa Brigades said that they will launch hundreds of projectiles at the Israeli towns in retaliation for the Israeli strike in Gaza. They said that they have already launched ten projectiles at Sderot as a preliminary reaction to the killings.

The National Brigades, the military wing affiliated to Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) said that they will retaliate for the Israeli aggression and warned that they will continue to resist in this way until the liberation of the Occupied Palestinian Territories. They assured the Palestinian people that such Israeli crimes will make the resistance stronger and the responses harder.
