Deputy Prime Minister Nasser Al-Din Al-Shaer accused Israel of trying to assassinate Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh and himself with a poisonous letter sent to him by mail in the Prime Ministry in Ramallah on Monday.
6 Ministry employees were poisoned when they inhaled poisonous material in a letter which was in the office of prime minister. They were all sent to the government hospital in Ramallah and their condition is said to be critical.
According to preliminary information, the envelope was addressed to the Deputy Prime Minister Nasser Al-Din Al-Shaer and claimed to be from Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh.
Employees in the office opened the envelope and found a white foul-smelling substance inside which caused the 6 employees to become unconscious.
